The ceremony lasts about 1 hour, including live Sufi music and the full Sema ritual.
The ceremony usually takes place in historic caravanserais (like Saruhan) or cave-style cultural centers in Cappadocia, offering an authentic atmosphere.
Flash photography and filming are not allowed during the ritual. Some venues allow photos at the end of the ceremony only.
Yes, children are welcome. However, parents should ensure they remain quiet and seated throughout the ritual, as the atmosphere is solemn.
Bookings can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the ceremony for a full refund. Cancellations made later are non-refundable.
There are two daily sessions:
- First Session: 16:30
- Second Session: 18:00
- Guests should arrive 15–20 minutes before the start.
The Sema Ceremony is a sacred ritual of the Mevlevi Order, not just an entertainment show. Guests should remain quiet and respectful during the ritual.
We recommend smart casual or modest clothing. A light jacket is useful in cooler seasons, especially if the show is in a caravanserai.
Most venues are accessible, but historic caravanserais may have stone floors or uneven surfaces. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
Tickets can be booked online in advance. Payments are processed through Stripe’s secure system, accepting all major credit and debit cards.
